  • Why warm white over the standard daylight White?
    Enhanced Depth Perception: Warm white light tends to enhance depth perception, allowing drivers to better judge distances and curves on the trail, leading to improved precision and safety during night drives.
    Reduced Glare: Warm white light produces a softer and more diffused glow compared to daylight white, which helps reduce glare and eye strain for drivers navigating the track in the dark.

    Indeed. LEDs are available in a range of sizes. We meticulously selected the optimal size-to-light ratio and pair it with our "Enhanced Free Form Optics Drive Technology." This innovative technology captures and concentrates more light, resulting in a powerful penetrating beam that effectively illuminates the road ahead. By minimizing wasted light and directing the beam precisely where it's needed, we ensure maximum efficiency and unparalleled performance.

  • What are beam patterns and why is it important?
    Beam pattern refers to the distribution of light emitted by a light source, typically depicted as a pattern or shape projected onto a surface. It describes how light is dispersed in different directions and angles from the source.

    Spot Beam (Also called a pencil beam): Produces a narrow and focused beam of light with a long reach. It provides intense illumination in a straight line, making it ideal for long-distance visibility and spotting objects or obstacles ahead.

    Flood Beam (Also called a broad beam): The flood beam pattern emits a wide and diffused beam of light with a broad coverage area. It spreads light horizontally and vertically, illuminating a large area with uniform brightness.

    Combo Beam: The combo beam pattern combines both spot and flood beams within a single light fixture, offering versatility for different lighting needs. It typically features a central spot beam surrounded by peripheral flood beams.

  • Raw Lumens, Effective Lumens what the difference?
    Raw lumens refer to the total amount of light emitted by a light source, measured without considering any factors that may affect its efficiency or performance. On the other hand, effective lumens includes those factors such as optics, reflectors, and other components that may influence the light's actual output and performance. Effective lumens provide a more accurate representation of the light's brightness as perceived by the human eye and its practical utility in real-world conditions. Raw lumens quantify the total light output of a source, effective lumens measure the light that is useful and visible in a given application.

  • Candela, Lumens, Lux, Watts does it all mean?
    Candela, Lumens, Lux, Watts are all measurements related to light, but they represent different aspects of light output and consumption.

    Candela measures the intensity of light in a specific direction, Lumens quantify the total amount of light emitted by a source, Lux measures the brightness of light on a surface area, and Watts indicate the electrical power consumed by a light source. Historically, watts were often associated with brightness, as the belief was the more electricity a light source consumed, the brighter it would be, today with LED's and optics that is not the case.

    Understanding these measurements helps make informed decisions when selecting lighting products based on their brightness, efficiency, and suitability for different applications.

  • What’s a Kelvin? No, not Kevin from the office…
    Kelvin temperature refers to the color temperature of light emitted by a light source. It is measured in degrees and indicates the hue or color appearance of the light.

    Lower Kelvin temperatures, typically ranging from 2000K to 5000K, produce warm white or yellowish light.

    Higher Temperatures emit a cooler white or bluish light.

  • How do I mount my Lights?
    These are universal lights which can be installed on various locations. If you have a specific location or a bracket designed for light mounting, utilize the provided hardware, and select one of the two mounting holes on the bottom of the light. Once mounted, remove the side-end caps to expose the bolt connecting the mount to the light. Loosen this screw to facilitate adjustment and tighten it once you've achieved your desired positioning.

  • Can this lights be installed sideways or upside?
    Absolutely! Just make sure to tighten all the hardware securely.
    Please note that the beam pattern was optimized for upright installation, so rotating the light will also rotate the beam pattern accordingly.

  • How do I wire my lights?
    Our lights include a pigtail wiring harness that plugs into the back of the light, the harness has three exposed wires. The Black wire serves as the Ground/Negative (-), the Red wire provides power to the primary Light (+), and the Brown wire supplies power to the Positional light. Streamline the wiring process using our Ghost Box system, or you can utilize the information provided above to integrate it into your own wiring system.

  • How can I control the lights?
    There are several ways to control the lights below are the most common: 
    Ghost Box by PROJECT X: We highly recommend incorporating our Ghost Box or Ghost Box System into your setup. Much like an Auxiliary Switch Panel, it streamlines and tidies up wiring, providing additional benefits such as app-based control, individual ON/Strobe and Dimming capabilities for each circuit, as well as features like Low Voltage Protection and Over-Current protection, among others.     Manual Switches: Install manual switches to control the off-road lights directly. These switches can be mounted on the dashboard or any convenient location within reach of the driver. They allow you to turn the lights on or off as needed.

    Relay Systems: Relay systems provide a more sophisticated way to control off-road lights. They involve using a relay to manage the high current flow required by the lights. The relay is activated by a switch or a trigger signal, which can come from the vehicle's OEM lighting system, an auxiliary switch panel, or a dedicated aftermarket switch.

    Auxiliary Switch Panels: Specialized control panels designed to integrate 12V accessories, into your vehicle's electrical system. Typically, these panels feature a centralized main hub where the leads from all the 12V accessories connect. Auxiliary switch panels are commonly installed in the engine compartment or another accessible location. A switch panel helps avoid cluttering your vehicle's dashboard with multiple individual switches for each accessory. Instead, you have a single, dedicated control panel specifically designed for managing all your 12V items.

    Integrated Lighting Systems: Some off-road vehicles come with integrated lighting systems that allow you to control aftermarket lights through the vehicle's existing controls or infotainment system.

  • How do I power just the Positional Light?
    Our lights come with a pigtail featuring three exposed wires for easy installation. The Black wire serves as the Ground/Negative (-), while the Brown wire supplies power to the Positional light (+). You can connect the Brown wire to any positive (+) source, whether it's a Ghost Box, relay, switch, AUX switch panel, your imagination is the limit. It's worth noting that the Positional light draws less than 1 amp at 12V, ensuring efficient power usage.

  • How do I change the Glare Cap?
    We include a Green and Black Glare cap, to remove un-clip the cap from the back edge of the lamp and pull. To replace align the clip and push down. Feel Free to paint a cap to match your vehicles look.

  • Is a lens cover included with my Light?
    Yes, we provided a clear lens cover in the box. Additional covers can be purchased, we offer Clear, blackout and coming soon an Orange lens cover.

  • What is an ECE Rating?
    An ECE rating on a light refers to compliance with regulations set by the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE), which is a United Nations agency responsible for harmonizing vehicle.
