The 5th generation TYPE S Solar Powered Mirror Backup Camera and Smart Button is our most advance backup camera yet. With the addition of the adjustable lens and increased battery capacity to 5200 mAh, the integrated Mirror Backup Camera eliminates the need for monitor on your dash board. Repositioned solar panels capture more sunlight, thus maximizing solar-charging efficiency. A push on the Smart Button activates the high definition, touch screen monitor. This system is extendable. Increase your safety by adding a second camera for a split-screen front and rearview. Add-on camera sold separately.

The maximum signal range is 33Feet / 10 Meters.
What is battery capacity and how long does camera take to charge? Do I need to charge the camera before installing it?
The camera comes with a 5,250 mAh rechargeable battery, please fully charge your camera for 6~8 hours using the USB cable included in package. After installation, the camera can be charged by solar panel based on 2 hours of full sunlight exposure with 10 triggers consumption per day.
Do I need to charge my Backup Camera before use?
We recommend to fully charge the Backup Camera for first time. Our packaging come with a microUSB cable for charging by USB adaptor. After installation, the Backup camera can be charged with Solar panel. Make sure your car is not parked at your garage or shaded location. Try to have 2 - 4 hours of good sunlight to recharge the camera each day.

My camera flashes Red LED continuously.
It means Low Battery of you backup camera, please charge it by solar panel or USB Cable.
Camera battery not charging with solar.
Please make sure the Backup Camera under the big sunlight.
Will this camera work with my truck?
We don't recommend to use this product for truck. It may take more longer when you use APP to connect with Backup Camera each time.
How do I reset the password from the app?
While the Backup Camera is on, press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds and then release. Blue LED light should flashes 5 times.
What is the wireless frequency?
The camera is connected to mobile device under2.4GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.
Can I leave the backup camera on all time while I am driving?
Yes! It's all about how you connect the 12V power cable. To stay on all the time you can connected 12V to running lights, license plate illumination lamp, run line direct to battery, ignition switch or any 12V source on the vehicle.
